The Bumblebee and Butterfly Room

This room houses our Pre-School children and our Out of School Club, Vicki leads this room with her team of 5 staff members.

Children from age 3 are able to explore, discover and learn within this room. It is spacious and well equipped with a wide variety of resources and equipment for the children. This room has free flow access to its very own outside play space as well as our large garden area.

Fun, engaging and exciting activities are developed and delivered within this room.

just in case you wanted to have a look at what this is! This is just one of the many activities which supports the children’s early writing skills.

We have recently taken part in a pilot study of The ONE programme which looks at early maths skills and deveoping executive function which supports not only thier Maths development but lots of other areas for development too. They also take part in Letters and Sounds activities and they especially enjoy a good, old fashioned story or song time.

The children love their weekly Forest School sessions and this is supporting them to develop lots of new skills.
